Sense & Nonsense

MusicBeethoven - "Him Goolie Goolie Man, Dem" EPJan 18, '07 4:15 PM
for everyone

Craziness. The singer is Donnelly from Five Go Down To The Sea. I've no idea at all who the other members are, or whether they were FGDTTS members.

Produced by Jon Langford, engineered by Ian Caple.

It's not pleasant listening at all. I like the last two tracks (in particular Channel Blocks?). And yes - the first one is a Beatles cover. Kind of.

Can't find any information about this record online anywhere (and Five Go Down To The Sea info is extremely hard to find). Can anyone help fill in the blanks? Interestingly (or maybe not), this was the first release on Setanta.

Sadly, the one thing I know for sure is that Donnelly died very soon after this was released.

Here you go.

http://www.setantarecords.com/php/artist.php?art_id=3

It basically WAS Five Go Down To The Sea.

And the record is, unsurprisingly, not deleted :)

I think I'm forgetting how to use the internet properly, as I went to the Setanta site just before posting this, looking for info.
